I drive by this place 6 days a week and finally stopped in. Service was great. Sandwich was fresh and made with care. Wasn't sloppy like other local chains. I got two Italians. One with the soft bread and one with the hard bread. Everything was fresh. I will definitely be back to try other things.

I've eaten here a few times, and even though I hate the small parking lot, I'll forgive them for that because I'm a good driver and I can handle my business out there without getting hit or being hit. Once inside, there's a pretty expansive menu to order from and this time I chose The Johnston Gino for my late day lunch with my friend. This bad boy is made up of Italian ham, capicola, provolone, hot peppers, roasted peppers, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. I substituted the mayo with oil and vinegar instead. Whoever heard of putting mayonnaise on an Italian sandwich anyway? I'm an Irishman and even I know that! There is no seating available in this small deli and I find that to be to their detriment. If they at least put two or three small tables and chairs in there to sit down and enjoy your sandwich, I would actually eat there more often. I didn't love the fact that my friend and I had to retreat to the parking lot and open up the tailgate of his SUV and eat our sandwiches out of there. It was my buddy first time eating there and he was absolutely astonished at how huge and delicious these sandwiches were. He's definitely a convert now. I do love the food there and I plan on going back lots of times in the future, but for the love of God, why can't they add some tables in there?

If you are looking for an unbelievable, authentic Italian sandwich, this is where you need to go. Of all the sandwich shops I have ever been to, this is by far the best in RI. I've had some good sandwiches on Federal Hill but these actually beat the Hill if you can believe it. Try the Scottie and the Dougie. Fresh baked hard Italian rolls and the sandwiches are massive. Great friendly service too!

We got a giant grinder for my daughter's confirmation party and it was amazing! This was so huge, it required 2 people to carry it to the car. The cold cuts and all ingredients were fresh and the grinder was delicious. Everyone at the party raved about the grinder and each person took some home for leftovers. I would absolutely recommend this deli for special occasion catering or if you are just stopping in for a quick lunch, you will not be disappointed!

Had the L'Europa - Italian grinder with prosciutto di parma added. Perfect balance of meats, bread and fixings. First time here. Everything in the case looked great.

A must visit for sandwich lovers! They have a great selection of a variety of sandwiches and even add to it with daily specials. The deli is clean and staff do a great job of pumping out those amazing sandwiches at a great price. First of all, the Eggplant Parm, now add the Capicola and hard roll! What a sandwich...can't believe they even have any left. I also ordered the Italian with Prosciutto, they use a chopped version of banana peppers, red onions, lettuce and tomatoes coated with oil and vinegar. I'm usually not a fan of roasted peppers, but whatever roasted peppers they threw on there were fantastic. The meats were top quality adding to the flavor. The stuffed cherry peppers were bite sized and I had to order some because they looked so good. Although they weren't spicy, they were still a great treat. Oh Yeah, do yourself a favor and go next door to the bakery to grab some of those pizza bites to go.

Thank you to the amazing staff! I showed up to Father and Son Deli and miscommunicated 4 foot longs thinking 4 foot long sandwiches. The staff immediately went to work to get to help me feed 50 hungry people. Sandwiches were amazing! Thank you for helping me.

The BEST...Top of the List...#1...best Eggplant Sandwich I have ever had!!! Maybe the best sandwich I've had. Got "The Don Vito" ($10.25 w/ tax) and it was just not fair. It was big, the bread was amazing, stuffed to the max with eggplant, super tasty and affordable. You don't see this overall value much anymore, especially since COVID started. This would cost $14 minimum anywhere else. Very friendly service and from the time I ordered inside to when I left, it was maybe 5 minutes. Must try!!!
